Where it came from
The Sir Adric figure was released in the mid-2000s as part of the Schleich Knights series, a line celebrated for its commitment to historical fantasy aesthetic and durable PVC construction. The figure represents a classic medieval archetype, designed to fit into a broader ecosystem of tabletop play sets and modular castle dioramas that were popular among children and collectors of durable miniatures during this period.
The design of the figure reflects the characteristic Schleich approach of the era, focusing on heavy paint application and molded details to provide a sense of textured armor and fabric. It was received as a reliable addition to the company's long-running medieval thematic collection, prized more for its functional utility in imaginative play and display dioramas than for limited-edition artistic rarity.
