Super Pack 2-in-1

The LEGO Super Pack 2-in-1, set number 66404-1, was released around 2012 as a retail bundle primarily marketed through major toy chains. These value packs were designed to combine two previously released standalone sets into a single box, offering consumers a consolidated purchase often at a slight discount compared to buying the sets individually. This specific iteration bundled the LEGO City sets 4436 Patrol Car and 4441 Police Dog Van, serving as a tactical reinforcement for the popular City police subtheme that remained a cornerstone of the LEGO catalog during that era.

The design of the individual sets within the pack relied on the established aesthetic of the LEGO City police line, which prioritized playability, recognizable emergency vehicle silhouettes, and robust construction for younger builders. The 4436 Patrol Car featured a classic sedan profile, while the 4441 Police Dog Van introduced specialized elements like a kennel compartment and a fold-out tracking section. Because these sets were designed as functional, everyday play items rather than display models, they were received primarily by parents and children seeking to expand their existing city layouts rather than by adult collectors focusing on rare or limited-edition builds.
