Where it came from
The 6319-1 Trees and Fences set was released by the LEGO Group in 1988 as part of the specialized Dacta educational line. Designed for classroom use rather than the traditional retail market, the set was intended to provide teachers with versatile landscaping elements to enhance town and city building projects, allowing students to incorporate natural scenery into their architectural simulations.
The set consists of a selection of plastic pine trees, small shrubbery, and brown fence components. Its design focuses on functional, modular utility rather than intricate building techniques, reflecting the Dacta division's commitment to supporting hands-on learning environments where students could explore spatial reasoning and city planning through foundational brick systems.
