Where it came from
Released in 1988, the Trees and Flowers set (6305-1) emerged during a period when the manufacturer was expanding its range of supplemental landscaping elements. Designed to enhance existing town and city layouts, this set provided a standardized way for builders to incorporate natural scenery into their displays, moving beyond the simple building bricks that defined the era.
The design of the set focuses on functional modularity, featuring basic coniferous trees and common floral elements that could be easily integrated into any small-scale environment. As a classic accessory pack, it received modest attention upon its release but remains well-regarded among hobbyists for its utility in filling out the greenery of vintage layouts.
