Where it came from
The 'Where are my Pants?' Guy was released in 2014 as the thirteenth figure in the first series of The LEGO Movie Collectible Minifigures line. The character originates from a recurring gag within the film, where a man appears in various mundane social situations while distressed about his missing trousers, serving as a satirical commentary on the trope of the poorly written television sitcom character.
The figure was designed to replicate the character's appearance in the film, featuring a distinctively flustered facial expression and the unique detail of missing pants, with the minifigure's legs printed to show colorful boxers. This figure became a standout piece in the series due to its meta-humor and its direct connection to the film's self-referential writing style.
