Where it came from
The LEGO Education World People Set, numbered 45011, was developed as a specialized tool for early childhood development and social-emotional learning. Designed for classroom settings, the set includes a diverse collection of minifigures representing various professions, physical characteristics, and cultural backgrounds, aiming to facilitate discussions about identity, community, and empathy among young students.
The design of the figures emphasizes inclusivity and versatility, allowing children to build scenes that reflect their own lives or explore new perspectives. By providing a broad spectrum of representations, the set serves as an open-ended resource for educators to encourage collaborative play and storytelling. It has been a staple in educational catalogs for years, recognized primarily for its pedagogical value in structured learning environments rather than as a traditional retail toy.
