Where it came from
Worriz is a character from the LEGO Legends of Chima theme, first appearing as a buildable action figure under the set number 391412-1 in 2014. The figure represents the leader of the Wolf Tribe, a central antagonist force within the Chima narrative. Legends of Chima was conceived as a multi-media franchise, integrating animated television series with toy lines to immerse children in the fantastical world of floating islands and elemental power.
The design of the Worriz figure follows the construction-based aesthetic characteristic of the LEGO Constraction line, utilizing specialized Technic and CCBS elements to achieve articulation and character-specific detailing. Created by the LEGO Group's design team, the figure was intended to balance the aggressive, mechanical aesthetic of the wolf faction with the playability required for action-oriented building sets. Upon its release, it was received as a niche expansion for fans of the show who preferred more tactile, poseable character models over traditional brick-built minifigure playsets.
