Berlioz

Berlioz is a rare character card from the Hyperia City trading card game, which emerged during the mid-2000s surge of cyberpunk-themed tabletop experiences. Designed to represent a prominent operative within the game's central metropolis, the card was crafted to embody the aesthetic of neon-noir science fiction that defined the set's visual identity. The artwork reflects a stylistic push toward high-contrast, digital-inspired illustrations common in the era's collectible card game landscape.

The character design was intended to provide a tactical archetype for players, focusing on speed and evasion mechanics that aligned with the character's narrative role in the Hyperia City lore. Upon release, the set was noted by hobbyists for its cohesive world-building, though it remained a niche title that prioritized immersive thematic design over broad market saturation. Collectors often prize this card for its distinct illustrative style, which remains a touchstone for the game's brief but dedicated production run.
