Go Go Tomago

Go Go Tomago, card number 72 in the Hyperia City set, represents the expansion of the Hyperia trading card ecosystem during its mid-series growth period. Designed as a common tier character card, it was produced to fill out the roster of the city-based tactical game, intended to provide players with accessible, reliable units for low-cost team building. The art style reflects the brand's pivot toward high-contrast, kinetic character portraits that emphasized the urban, futuristic aesthetic central to the set’s world-building.

The character design was spearheaded by the internal art team at Hyperia Media, who aimed to synthesize traditional comic book sensibilities with modern digital illustration techniques. While not a centerpiece of the collection, the card received moderate praise from players upon its release for its functional utility in basic gameplay decks. Its common status ensured it became a staple of early card pools, serving as an approachable entry point for new collectors and strategy enthusiasts alike.
