Sulley

Sulley, appearing as card number 4 in the Illumineer's Quest: The Great Hunny Rescue set, was released as part of the Disney Lorcana trading card game. This specific quest set introduced a cooperative play format, allowing players to work together to defeat the set's antagonist rather than competing against one another. The character design stays true to the iconic appearance of James P. Sullivan from the 2001 Pixar film Monsters, Inc., rendered in the distinct art style developed for the Lorcana universe, which emphasizes a blend of traditional animation aesthetics and modern fantasy illustration.

The card is designated as a special rarity, a tier typically reserved for promotional content or unique gameplay components within the Lorcana ecosystem. Designers for the game aim to balance character personalities with mechanical synergy, and this rendition of Sulley was crafted to serve as a pivotal figure in the co-op narrative of The Great Hunny Rescue. Since the game's launch, the art direction has been praised by collectors for its vibrant color palettes and the way it reimagines classic Disney characters within a cohesive, tabletop-ready visual language.
