Aminatou's Augury

Aminatou's Augury was released in 2018 as part of the Commander 2018 set, a series of preconstructed decks designed specifically for the Magic: The Gathering multiplayer format. The card serves as a thematic centerpiece for the Subjective Reality deck, which centers on the character Aminatou, the Fateshifter, a young planeswalker gifted with the power of destiny and precognition. By allowing a player to look at the top eight cards of their library and cast spells from among them, the card mechanically mirrors the character's narrative focus on manipulation and future-sight.
