Where it came from
The Angel token from the Reality Fracture series was released as part of a specialized promotional set designed to accompany high-end expansion releases. Intended to serve as a functional play-piece for trading card games, it was crafted to offer a distinct aesthetic departure from standard set tokens, emphasizing ethereal lighting and sharp, minimalist linework to appeal to collectors who value artistic consistency across their decks.
The design was commissioned to evoke a sense of weightlessness, utilizing a palette that balances muted pastels with stark, high-contrast highlights. Upon release, the card received favorable notice within the hobbyist community for its clean layout and the quality of its card stock, which distinguished it from the mass-produced tokens typically found in booster packs. It remains a staple for players seeking a refined, uniform look for their token generation effects.
