Bloodmark Mentor

Bloodmark Mentor was released as part of the 2012 Duels of the Planeswalkers promotional card set. The card was designed as a thematic tie-in to the popular digital game franchise, which served as an accessible entry point for players to learn the mechanics of Magic: The Gathering. By featuring unique promotional versions of cards, Wizards of the Coast sought to bridge the gap between their digital offerings and the physical tabletop card game, rewarding players with tangible items that reflected the aesthetics and gameplay styles found within the Duels software.
