What it does
When Blurry Visionary enters the battlefield, look at the top two cards of your library and put them back-to-back in the same sleeve with either card in front. They become a modal double-faced card for the rest of the game. Then put that card into your hand. (You can play either face of that double-faced card. Make sure to reset it when the game ends.)

Where it came from
Blurry Visionary was released in 2024 as part of the Mystery Booster 2 set, a curated compilation designed by Wizards of the Coast to celebrate the eclectic and often experimental history of Magic: The Gathering. The card serves as a tongue-in-cheek nod to the game's long-standing aesthetic and mechanical evolutions, fitting into the set's broader theme of revisiting unconventional designs that typically fall outside the standard competitive framework.
The card's design leans into the meta-humor common in 'un-sets' and supplemental products, utilizing artwork and ability text that play with the concept of visual and mechanical clarity. While the artist for this specific piece follows the standard creative direction set by the game's art directors for the expansion, the card is primarily valued by collectors for its role as a novelty inclusion in the Mystery Booster 2 experience rather than its utility in traditional tournament formats.
