Bojuka Bog first appeared in the Worldwake expansion in 2010, designed to provide players with a utility land capable of interacting with graveyard-based strategies. The card’s design centers on a simple but powerful effect: entering the battlefield tapped to exile all cards from a target player's graveyard. This utility made it a staple in various formats, leading to its inclusion in the Commander 2011 preconstructed deck titled Devour for Power, which sought to support graveyard-heavy playstyles.
