Cabal Coffers originally debuted in the 2002 Torment expansion, designed as a powerful land that scales in efficiency based on the number of Swamps a player controls. It became a staple in black-aligned Commander decks for its ability to generate massive amounts of mana. The version in the Tales of Middle-earth Commander set features artwork by Sean Vo, which reimagines the iconic land through the lens of J.R.R. Tolkien’s legendarium.
