Where it came from
Complete the Circuit was released as part of the promotional suite for the 2023 Magic: The Gathering expansion March of the Machine. This specific card was distributed as a WPN Premium Store promo, featuring an alternate frame treatment designed to highlight the set's focus on the multiversal invasion storyline. The design team aimed to emphasize the interconnected nature of the set’s mechanics, utilizing a sleek, modern aesthetic that distinguishes the promo version from the standard set release.
The card’s illustration was crafted by artist Lie Setiawan, who utilized a vivid color palette and dynamic composition to capture the essence of high-stakes magical artifice. Upon its release, the card was well-received by players and collectors for its unique visual appeal and its utility in spell-focused deck archetypes.
