Cuombajj Witches was originally introduced in the Arabian Nights expansion of 1993, the very first expansion set for Magic: The Gathering. Drawing thematic inspiration from Middle Eastern folklore and One Thousand and One Nights, the card served as a utility creature capable of dealing targeted damage.
