Provenance

Where it came from

The 'Darkness' card, numbered 124 in the Special Guests set, originates from the Flesh and Blood trading card game. This specific card was designed as part of a series that highlights the collaborative spirit of the game's development, featuring unique artistic contributions from notable guests within the tabletop gaming community. It serves as an aesthetic and mechanical tribute to the dark, high-fantasy themes that define the game’s core identity.

The design of the card emphasizes a moody, atmospheric visual style that aligns with the established lore of the Flesh and Blood universe. By inviting special guests to interpret existing game concepts, the developers aimed to provide players with artistic variations that stand out from the standard expansion cycles. Upon its release, the card was received as a sought-after collectible, appreciated by enthusiasts for both its distinct illustration and its limited distribution within the Special Guests set.
