Dimir Aqueduct

The Dimir Aqueduct was originally introduced in the 2005 Ravnica: City of Guilds set as part of a cycle of bouncelands, designed by Wizards of the Coast to provide mana fixing while representing the architectural infrastructure of the plane-spanning city. This specific version originates from the 2018 GRN Guild Kit, a product released alongside Guilds of Ravnica to celebrate the flavor and mechanics of the ten original guilds. These kits were curated to provide players with a thematic deck and an array of reprints featuring updated card frames and set symbols specific to the Ravnica block's return.

The art for this iteration maintains the signature aesthetic of the Dimir guild, focusing on the dark, subterranean, and secretive nature of the house of whispers. Illustrators for the Dimir cards typically lean into themes of shadows, blue and black color palettes, and industrial city elements, aiming to evoke a sense of espionage and hidden knowledge. The Guild Kit release was well received by the community for its accessibility and its role as a commemorative nod to the historical identity of the Ravnica guilds, serving as a staple for both thematic deck-building and casual play.
