Dimir Aqueduct

Dimir Aqueduct was originally introduced in the Ravnica: City of Guilds set in 2005, designed to represent the infrastructure of the Dimir house within the interconnected cityscape of Ravnica. This specific printing from the Commander 2018 set features updated frame aesthetics while retaining the functional bounce-land mechanic, which requires the player to return a land to their hand upon entering the battlefield. This mechanic has long been a staple of utility mana bases in the Commander format, providing both color fixing and a recurring land-play trigger.

The art for this version continues the moody, shadowed aesthetic associated with the Dimir guild, emphasizing the secretive and subterranean nature of the faction. The design language focuses on blue and black motifs, reflecting the guild's alignment with espionage, information gathering, and subversion. Within the context of the 2018 Commander release, the inclusion of this land served to provide players with accessible, efficient multicolor support for decks utilizing the blue and black color identity.
