What it does
When Dogmeat enters, mill five cards, then return an Aura or Equipment card from your graveyard to your hand.
Whenever a creature you control that's enchanted or equipped attacks, create a Junk token. (It's an artifact with "tap, Sacrifice this token: Exile the top card of your library. You may play that card this turn. Activate only as a sorcery.")

Where it came from
Dogmeat, Ever Loyal is a card released in the 2024 Magic: The Gathering Fallout Commander set. This set represents a thematic collaboration between Wizards of the Coast and the Fallout video game franchise, designed to bring the iconic post-apocalyptic setting into the mechanics of the tabletop card game. The card features Dogmeat, the recurring German Shepherd companion who has served as a central symbol of loyalty and survival throughout the series since the original 1997 game.
The artwork for this card was created by illustrator Ekaterina Burmak, known for her contributions to fantasy gaming aesthetics. In designing this piece, the focus was on capturing the weathered, wasteland-hardened appearance of the character while maintaining his role as a supportive companion. Upon its release, the card was well-received by both Magic players and Fallout fans for its ability to generate resource advantage, effectively mirroring the character's signature habit of scavenging for useful items in the game.
