Provenance

Where it came from

The Dragon token from the Reality Fracture series was released as part of a specialized line of supplementary game pieces designed to support complex interactions in collectible card games. Created during a period of experimentation with expanded game mechanics, these tokens were intended to provide visual clarity for players who used effects that temporarily altered the state of the board, allowing them to track summoned creatures with ease.

The visual design for this series was commissioned to emphasize a high-fantasy aesthetic that differed from the core set's traditional look. Illustrators were tasked with capturing a sense of ephemeral power, utilizing vibrant color palettes and kinetic line work to represent the unstable nature of the 'reality fracture' theme. Upon its release, the token was well-received by the community for its distinct art style, which helped elevate the aesthetic quality of the tabletop experience.
