Provenance

Where it came from

The Dragon Egg token, bearing the collector number 12, was released as part of the ancillary content for the Magic: The Gathering set Outlaws of Thunder Junction, specifically within the Commander expansion decks. These tokens serve as physical representations of creature states created by various spells and abilities within the game, maintaining the thematic aesthetic of the set's high-fantasy western motif.

The design of this token follows the established visual language of modern Magic: The Gathering supplemental products, focusing on clarity and artistic immersion. As a functional game piece, the illustration is intended to clearly communicate the creature type and potential power-toughness characteristics to players, ensuring seamless interaction during the fast-paced gameplay typical of the Commander format.
