What it does
When Duelists' Convocation International enters the battlefield, choose a 10-digit number at random and write it down.
Whenever you play a land or cast a spell, if it shares a mana value with one or more uncrossed digits in the chosen number, cross out one of those digits and draw a card. Then if all ten digits are crossed out, you win the game.

Where it came from
The Duelists' Convocation International card released in Mystery Booster 2 serves as a nostalgic homage to the original organization that governed organized play for the trading card game Magic: The Gathering. Founded in the 1990s, the DCI provided the framework for sanctioned tournaments and regional events, fostering the competitive community that grew around the game during its formative years. This specific inclusion in the 2024 Mystery Booster 2 set acts as a commemorative artifact, acknowledging the historical significance of the DCI before its operations were integrated into other Wizards of the Coast systems.
The design of this card utilizes a clean, minimalist aesthetic that mirrors the retro branding of the DCI era. By featuring the organization's legacy logo and iconography, it aims to evoke a sense of professional heritage for long-term players. As part of a set designed to celebrate the history of Magic: The Gathering through 'playtest' cards and reprints, the piece was received as a heartfelt nod to the tournament organizers and judges who sustained the game's competitive ecosystem for decades.
