Eivor, Wolf-Kissed // Eivor, Wolf-Kissed

Eivor, Wolf-Kissed was released in 2023 as part of the Magic: The Gathering Universes Beyond: Assassin's Creed collaboration. This card was featured in the Art Series subset, which highlights the illustrative talent behind the set by showcasing borderless, full-art versions of key characters from the franchise. The design aims to capture the stoic, rugged essence of the Viking protagonist from Assassin's Creed Valhalla, emphasizing the character's dual nature as both a leader and a warrior through a focus on atmospheric lighting and traditional Norse-inspired aesthetics.

The art style for this specific release draws heavily from the game's established visual identity, ensuring the character remains recognizable to fans of the video game series while fitting seamlessly into the aesthetic expectations of the Art Series collection. These cards were produced as collectible art pieces rather than tournament-legal game cards, and they were generally well-received by fans of both the Assassin's Creed franchise and collectors of Magic: The Gathering who appreciate high-fidelity, standalone illustrations.
