Emeritus of Abundance // Regrowth

Emeritus of Abundance // Regrowth was released as part of the Strixhaven: School of Mages expansion, specifically appearing within the Mystical Archive subset. This unique collection of cards was designed to celebrate the history of powerful spells throughout the game's multi-decade evolution, utilizing a distinct, ornate frame style inspired by the aesthetic of a prestigious magical university. The card features artwork commissioned to reflect the scholarly and arcane atmosphere of Strixhaven, emphasizing the themes of academic mastery and botanical growth central to the set's lore.

The design of the Mystical Archive cards was intended to provide players with visually striking, premium versions of iconic or thematic spells. By blending traditional fantasy illustration with a sophisticated, academic aesthetic, the creative team sought to evoke the feel of ancient scrolls or rare textbooks. Upon its release, the card was well-received by the collecting community for its cohesive art direction and its ability to bridge the gap between functional gameplay mechanics and high-end artistic presentation.
