Eutropia the Twice-Favored

Eutropia the Twice-Favored was first introduced in the 2020 Magic: The Gathering expansion Theros Beyond Death. Designed to showcase the synergy between the set's enchantment-themed mechanics and the return of the Constellation keyword, the card embodies the flavor of the Theros plane, which is heavily inspired by Greek mythology. The art, created by Magali Villeneuve, captures Eutropia's regal yet mystical connection to the divine, reflecting the character's narrative role as a noble figure navigating the celestial politics of her realm.

The card was later included in 'The List', a rotating selection of cards from Magic's history that appear in Set Boosters. Its inclusion in this format serves to provide collectors and players with easier access to cards that function well within limited and commander environments, rather than as a reprint driven by tournament demand. It has been well-regarded by the community for its focused design, which efficiently facilitates an enchantment-based playstyle without the complexity often found in rare-tier cards.
