Exalted Sunborn // Exalted Sunborn

Exalted Sunborn is part of the Art Series collection released alongside the Magic: The Gathering set Edge of Eternities. These cards are non-playable display pieces designed to showcase the expanded, full-bleed artwork that is otherwise cropped on standard gameplay cards. The series serves as a deliberate tribute to the illustrators, providing a canvas for high-fantasy aesthetic details that might be lost in the technical layout of the core game.

The piece reflects the high-fantasy visual language associated with modern Wizards of the Coast sets, prioritizing luminous light effects and ornate character design to convey a sense of divine power. While the specific illustration follows the established artistic direction for the set, it is valued by enthusiasts for its clean, textless presentation, which allows the artist's technique—typically involving digital painting with a focus on dramatic illumination—to remain the central point of focus.
