Fated Clash // Fated Clash

Fated Clash is a card originating from the Final Fantasy Trading Card Game (FFTCG), specifically featured within the 'Final Fantasy VII Remake' Scene Box released in 2024. These specialized boxes were designed to celebrate iconic moments from the series, offering a curated selection of cards that capture the narrative tension of the source material. The item draws directly from the visual language of the 2020 reimagining of the classic role-playing game, intended to provide fans with a tangible memento of the high-stakes confrontations between the game's protagonists and their primary antagonist.

The design of the card emphasizes the cinematic aesthetic of the Final Fantasy VII Remake, utilizing high-fidelity assets that reflect the modern, gritty character models developed by Square Enix. The card frame and thematic layout were created to balance the functional requirements of the card game with the illustrative needs of a narrative-focused set. Upon its release, the Scene Box was received positively by the collecting community for its focus on storytelling and its departure from the standard blind-buy pack model, serving as both a playable component and a displayable piece of franchise history.
