What it does
Destroy target creature, then assemble a Contraption. (Put the top card of your Contraption deck face up onto one of your sprockets.)
The S.N.E.A.K. Code clearly permits looting corpses for parts. That just meant Agent 47.3 had to make sure her target was dead first.

Where it came from
Finders, Keepers was released in 2017 as part of Unstable, the third silver-bordered joke set for the Magic: The Gathering trading card game. Designed by Mark Rosewater and his team at Wizards of the Coast, the set was intended to offer a whimsical, experimental departure from the competitive rigidity of standard play. The card features art by Steve Argyle, who captured the chaotic, treasure-hunting spirit typical of the Un-set aesthetic, which emphasizes humor, unconventional mechanics, and breaking traditional game rules.
The design of Finders, Keepers reflects the playful nature of the Unstable set, focusing on interactive, random elements that are generally discouraged in serious tournament play. It allows players to search their library for a card while encouraging a lighthearted approach to the game's strict mechanics. Upon release, the card was well-received by fans of the franchise who enjoy the creative freedom inherent in silver-bordered cards, serving as a signature example of the set's dedication to imaginative, non-competitive card design.
