Gaea's Blessing

Gaea's Blessing was originally released in the 1999 Weatherlight expansion, but this specific iteration appeared in the 2006 Time Spiral 'Timeshifted' subset. This set was designed to pay homage to the game's history by reprinting iconic cards with their original illustrations and the classic pre-2003 card frame, providing a nostalgic aesthetic for long-time players during a period of transition in the game's visual design.

The artwork was commissioned from Rebecca Guay, an illustrator whose distinct, ethereal style defined much of the game's late-90s visual identity. Guay’s portrayal of the natural world, often characterized by soft lines and dreamlike palettes, sought to capture the card's theme of environmental regeneration.
