Goblin Coward Parade

Goblin Coward Parade is a card from the 2022 Magic: The Gathering set Unfinity, which serves as the fourth entry in the game's long-running Un-series. These sets are designed for casual play, utilizing humor and experimental mechanics that typically fall outside the standard rules engine of Magic. The card belongs to a collection of stickers and sticker-related cards, a central gimmick of the Unfinity set that introduced the concept of permanent board modifications via adhesive labels.

The design of the card leans into the chaotic and humorous nature of the Un-series, reflecting the whimsical artistic direction spearheaded by the Wizards of the Coast creative team. The illustration utilizes the set's retro-futuristic carnival aesthetic, aiming to evoke a sense of lighthearted, nonsensical fun. Upon release, the set received a mixed but generally warm reception from the player base, with many appreciating the creative risk-taking, even as the sticker mechanics presented logistical challenges for traditional tournament play.
