Greel, Mind Raker

Greel, Mind Raker was released in 2000 as part of the Prophecy expansion for Magic: The Gathering. The set was designed to explore the theme of resource management, specifically highlighting the tension between players and their available mana and card advantage. Within the set's narrative and mechanical structure, Greel represented the darker, parasitic side of the plane of Rath, serving as a rare legendary creature that emphasized discard mechanics.
