Where it came from
Greed's Gambit, indexed as 8p, was released as a promotional card for The Big Score tabletop game series. These promotional items were crafted to incentivize attendance at gaming tournaments and local hobby store events, serving as a reward for participants while offering players new strategic options that did not fundamentally break the core mechanics of the base game.
The visual design of the card utilizes the established aesthetic language of the series, favoring bold, high-contrast illustrations that emphasize the game's central theme of corporate espionage and risk management. While the specific illustrator is not credited on the card face, the art direction follows the house style of the publisher's late-stage promotional cycle, intended to appeal to established players looking to customize their decks with unique, limited-distribution assets.
