Where it came from
Ingris Stingerquill (137p) was released as a promotional card within the Reality Fracture set, an expansion that introduced complex narrative mechanics centered on dimensional instability. Issued as part of the specialized Promo cycle, this card was primarily distributed through high-level competitive tournaments and select retail events to highlight the set's unique art style and mechanical depth.
The illustration was crafted by long-time fantasy contributor Elena Vance, who aimed to emphasize the creature's ethereal, shifting form through a high-contrast palette of violets and deep teals. The design was received favorably by the community, with critics frequently citing the card's distinctive frame treatment as an exemplary integration of aesthetic flair and functional card clarity within the Reality Fracture line.
