Janosch Kühn Decklist (2000)

The Janosch Kühn decklist is part of the 2000 World Championship Decks, a series released by Wizards of the Coast to replicate the exact card lists used by the top eight finalists at the Magic: The Gathering World Championships in Brussels. These decks were produced for the general public, allowing players to experience professional-level strategies and deck-building philosophy firsthand, rather than relying on randomized booster packs.

The deck itself reflects the competitive environment of the turn of the millennium, showcasing a specific iteration of a 'Control' strategy that was effective during that era of the game. Because these cards feature distinct, non-tournament-legal gold borders and the player's signature on the card faces, they serve primarily as historical artifacts and study aids rather than competitive tournament tools, preserving the specific technical approach that Kühn utilized during the 2000 event.
