Keeper of the Mind

Keeper of the Mind was released in 1998 as part of the Exodus expansion for the Magic: The Gathering trading card game. Developed by Wizards of the Coast, Exodus served as the final set in the Rath Cycle, a narrative arc that introduced players to the Phyrexian-dominated plane of Rath. The card was designed as an uncommon blue creature, reflecting the set's mechanical focus on reactive abilities and strategic card draw common to the color's identity during the late nineties.

The card’s illustration was rendered by Matthew D. Wilson, a prominent artist for the game during its formative years.
