Where it came from
Lightning, Security Sergeant is a specialized promotional card released as part of the Media and Collaboration Promos set, carrying the collector number 2025-12. These types of promotional cards are typically distributed during specific industry events, through media partnerships, or as part of limited-run tie-ins designed to bridge the gap between established trading card games and external creative franchises.
The design of this card adheres to the aesthetic standards of its parent game system, focusing on character-driven iconography and strategic utility. While specific illustrator credits for individual promotional cards are often subsumed into the overarching design language of the set, the piece was developed to provide a distinct narrative flavor to the collection, specifically highlighting themes of guardianship and tactical security within the game's broader lore.
