Man-o'-War

Man-o'-War was originally released as a rare card in the Visions expansion for the Magic: The Gathering trading card game in 1996. Designed during a period when the game was rapidly expanding its mechanical complexity, the card was intended to provide blue decks with an efficient, tempo-oriented creature that could bounce an opponent's threat back to their hand. Its inclusion in 'The List'—a rotating selection of reprints curated by Wizards of the Coast for Set Boosters—reintroduces the card to modern formats, maintaining its original utility as a staple of limited and constructed play.
