Manabond

Manabond was introduced in the 1998 Exodus expansion, the final set of the Rath Cycle for the Magic: The Gathering trading card game. Developed by Wizards of the Coast, the set was designed to explore the mechanics of high-risk, high-reward play, often rewarding players for discarding resources or emptying their hands to achieve a powerful board state. As a rare green enchantment, Manabond reflected the game's intent to push the boundaries of mana acceleration, offering a unique, albeit challenging, strategy for players looking to rapidly expand their lands.
