Where it came from
Mistmeadow Witch was originally introduced in the Shadowmoor expansion of Magic: The Gathering, released in 2008. The card reflects the set's focus on the hybrid mana mechanic and the eerie, fairytale-inspired aesthetic of the plane of Shadowmoor, a world perpetually locked in a state of twilight.
