What it does
You may cast this spell as though it had flash. If you cast it any time a sorcery couldn't have been cast, the controller of the permanent it becomes sacrifices it at the beginning of the next cleanup step.
When this enchantment enters, if it's on the battlefield, it becomes an Aura with "enchant creature put onto the battlefield with Necromancy." Put target creature card from a graveyard onto the battlefield under your control and attach this enchantment to it. When this enchantment leaves the battlefield, that creature's controller sacrifices it.

Where it came from
Necromancy is a black enchantment card originally introduced in the 1996 Visions expansion for Magic: The Gathering. Designed as a versatile reanimation tool, it allows players to return a creature from their graveyard to the battlefield, often at instant speed, with a clever drawback that forces the enchantment to act as an aura on the reanimated creature. This specific printing appears in the 2024 Murders at Karlov Manor Commander set, a collection themed around a gothic, murder-mystery investigation on the plane of Ravnica.
The art for this version maintains the card's dark, macabre aesthetic, consistent with its long history of grim, necromantic imagery. While the card's functional mechanics have made it a staple in Commander and other eternal formats for its efficiency in reviving powerful creatures, this specific iteration serves to reintroduce the classic effect to newer players within the Ravnican setting. It remains a functional piece of cardboard history, valued for its mechanical flexibility rather than its rarity in this particular printing.
