Provenance

Where it came from

The Oko, Shadowmoor Scion Emblem originated as part of the Lorwyn Eclipsed Tokens set, a fan-created project designed to bridge the aesthetic gap between the whimsical, folkloric roots of the original Lorwyn block and the more somber, gothic themes introduced in Shadowmoor. Produced by the dedicated hobbyist community to serve as functional accessories for gameplay, these tokens were crafted to provide players with a thematic visual representation of the emblem generated by the planeswalker card Oko, Thief of Crowns.

The design of this specific emblem draws heavily from the dual-nature aesthetic of the Shadowmoor plane, utilizing intricate, ink-washed illustrations that emphasize the eerie, distorted beauty of the Great Aurora. While the item was not an official release from the primary manufacturer, it was received with appreciation by the collector community for its artistic adherence to the established visual language of the game, proving popular for those who prioritize aesthetic consistency in their customized decks.
