What it does
Whenever you cast a spell, copy it and you may choose new targets for the copy. Then balance a card from outside the game on one of your fingertips. When that card falls or touches another card, sacrifice this enchantment.
For extra style points, spin them.

Where it came from
Plate Spinning was released in 2022 as part of Unfinity, the fourth Un-set in the Magic: The Gathering trading card game. Designed by Wizards of the Coast, the set was conceived as a space-carnival themed expansion that blended traditional silver-bordered humor with black-bordered competitive mechanics. The card draws on the classic circus trope of a performer balancing spinning plates on poles, translated here into a card that uses the set's unique attraction mechanics to create a lighthearted, interactive gameplay experience.
The illustration for Plate Spinning was created by artist Titus Lunter, who has contributed extensively to the visual identity of Magic: The Gathering. Lunter opted for a whimsical, vibrant aesthetic that emphasizes the chaotic movement inherent in the act of plate spinning. The card was well-received by the player base for its thematic resonance and its ability to utilize the set's central attraction-deck feature, solidifying its place as a quintessential example of the Unfinity expansion's playful design philosophy.
