Professor Dellian Fel // Professor Dellian Fel

Professor Dellian Fel was released as part of the Secrets of Strixhaven Art Series, which debuted alongside the Magic: The Gathering expansion set Strixhaven: School of Mages in 2021. The set was designed to highlight the high-fantasy aesthetic of the academic setting, providing collectors with high-quality, borderless prints of the illustrations featured on cards from the main set. The series served as a bridge between traditional trading card gameplay and the appreciation of the digital art that defines modern fantasy card games.

The artwork for this card was created by artist Livia Prima, who utilized a vibrant, academic-themed color palette to capture the character's status as a professor at the Prismari College. Prima’s design focused on conveying both the elegance of the magical arts and the scholarly demeanor associated with the faculty of Strixhaven. Upon its release, the card was well-received by collectors for its clean composition and the atmospheric quality that distinguishes the Art Series from the standard gameplay-focused card variants.
