Reverberate

Reverberate was first printed in the 2010 Premium Deck Series: Fire and Lightning, a curated collection designed to showcase the aggressive red color identity in Magic: The Gathering. This specific card was included to provide players with a powerful utility spell that copies instants or sorceries, fitting the theme of high-velocity, reactive gameplay favored by red-aligned decks. The series was released as a boxed set intended to provide a cohesive, ready-to-play experience for both casual players and those interested in the history of red strategies.

The artwork for this printing was created by Cyril Van Der Haegen, who utilized a bold, energetic style to evoke the sensation of a spell echoing and amplifying across the battlefield. The design focuses on the chaotic and elemental nature of red magic, moving away from more traditional spellcraft imagery to emphasize the raw power of the copied effect. Upon its release, the deck was well-received by the community for its high-quality foil card treatments and for making staple cards more accessible to players who appreciated the aesthetic consistency of the series.
