Reverse Polarity

Reverse Polarity was released in 1994 as part of Antiquities, the second expansion set for the Magic: The Gathering trading card game. Developed by Wizards of the Coast, the set was designed by a small team led by Skaff Elias and was heavily inspired by archaeological themes and the lore of the fictional world of Dominaria. The expansion is notable for being the first set to explore a specific theme—the history of the Brothers' War—which helped shape the strategic and narrative direction of the game during its formative years.

The card’s artwork was illustrated by Quinton Hoover, a prominent artist whose distinctive, fluid style became a signature of early Magic sets.
