Where it came from
Sacred Foundry originated as a staple card within the Ravnica: City of Guilds expansion for Magic: The Gathering, released by Wizards of the Coast in 2005. Designed as part of a cycle of dual lands representing the ten guilds of the plane of Ravnica, it was crafted to provide players with flexible mana fixing while capturing the industrial, religious aesthetic of the Boros Legion.
