Sami, Wildcat Captain // Sami, Wildcat Captain

Sami, Wildcat Captain was released as part of the Art Series for the Magic: The Gathering set Edge of Eternities. These cards are distributed exclusively in collector boosters, serving as a showcase for the card's original illustration. The series is designed to celebrate the visual storytelling of the game, providing players and collectors with a high-quality, frame-less look at the artwork intended to highlight the character design and environmental details of the plane.

The character Sami appears as a central figure in the set's narrative, embodying the tactical and rugged spirit of the Wildcat faction. The illustration captures a moment of leadership, focusing on the dynamic movement and character-driven detail that defines modern Magic art. These art cards are prized by collectors for their aesthetic focus, distinguishing them from traditional gameplay cards by stripping away the text boxes to offer a pure, focused viewing experience of the illustrator's work.
